Emotion Detection Advanced Applications Through Conversations
I'm sorry my friends, have not updated my blog a few days. Because there is something very important business and personal. Today I started again to update my blog.
An advanced application that presented developers named Susana Munoz Hernandez in Portugal, very unique. Application called RFuzzy can detect a person's emotions through conversation analysis.
In the event the First International Conference on Fuzzy Computation held in Madeira, Portugal, Susana shows that the creation of applications able to identify the hidden emotions in the expression of speech, so that can know whether the speaker is sad, happy or nervous.
"The application is implemented in a programming language called Prolog. Prolog itself operate with something called fuzzy logic and is often used for the application of artificial intelligence and expert systems," said Susana in his presentation, quoted from Science Daily on Thursday (25/11/2010) .
Besides being used to detect emotion in human conversation, RFuzzy also been used to improve the intelligence of robots. For example, RFuzzy applied to the robots that fight in the arena football league world robot or RoboCupSoccer. Here, RFuzzy play an important role in the analysis of conversation and the level of emotional intelligence of robot soccer players.
Susana explained, logical mechanism RFuzzy leave some margin of interpretation to the computer. Next, the computer will make decisions based on a series of logical rules that are used as a parameter measurements include the volume, level tone, speed and so forth.
